Little Dancer Beginning Classes
Mommy and Me 18 months-3 yrs
Your tiny dancer will get to take class with a parent, grandparent, or caretaker! Dancers will learn rhythm, movement, and musicality while having a lot of fun! This class will help motor development and coordination for your toddler.
Weds: 10:00-10:45 AM
Creative Movement 3-4 yrs
In this class students work under a structured environment as they learn to develop their own individuality. Class focus is on coordination and rhythm introduced in imaginative ways!
*Must be potty trained*

Tip Tap Toe 5-6 yrs
This class is for the little dancer who enjoys energetic expressive movement, upbeat music, and creativity. Pre-Ballet, Jazz, and Clogging will be taught, as well as other dance concepts such as stretching, memorization, musicality, coordination, and discipline.

Core classes at Body Logic Dance Academy are Ballet, Modern, and Jazz. These classes are fundamental aspects of a complete dance education. Our classes provided dancers with an essential skill set that helps them to grow and thrive in the ever changing and evolving world of dance. These classes are suggested for the student who wished to be a serious dancer.
Ballet is an artistic dance form which uses precise and highly formalized set steps and gestures. Steps are characterized by light, graceful, fluid movements and the use of pointe shoes.
Ballet 1 (ages 7-9): M 5:30-6:30 PM
Ballet 2 (ages 10-12): TH 5:30-6:30 PM
Ballet 3 (ages 13-15 or by placement):T TH 6:30-7:30 PM

Beg Teen Ballet (ages 13 +): W 6:30-7:30 PM
Dancing on pointe, or pointe work, requires standing on the tips of the toes while performing ballet steps. Hard-toed and stiff-shanked pointe shoes must be worn. Strength and skill are essential. Permission from an instructor is required before students may enroll in pointe classes. Students taking pointe must be enrolled in regular ballet classes.

In these classes students will explore an innovative and highly creative dance form while moving freely in the space. Elements of improvisation are also introduced.

Jazz dance combines techniques of classical ballet and modern dance with the current forms of popular music. Emphasis on the importance of energy and rhythmical accuracy.

Hip Hop (ages 7+)
Hip Hop is about personal style and expression. This high energy class can be taught to anyone with a passion to move and willingness to have fun!

Clogging (ages 7+)
Clogging is a type of dance, like tap, in which the dancer's footwear is used percussively by striking the heel, the toe, or both against a floor or each other, to create audible rhythms with the heel keeping the rhythm.
