Body Logic Dance Company presents
"the nutcracker and the mouse queen"
Body Logic Dance Company presents a brand new Nutcracker story choreographed by Artistic Director Serena Webb and company member Karyn Andrasko. Joined by the community, the cast includes children and adults in a new contemporary dance tale inspired by E.T.A Hoffman's original Nutcracker story. The costumes are steampunk, the music is scrambled, and the only dancer on pointe shoes is the mouse queen.
Body Logic Dance Company is seeking male and female dancers ages 7+ for their new production "The Nutcracker and the Mouse Queen." We are looking for male and female dancers of all ages 7 and up. 1-2 years of dance training suggested for dancers 7-17 years. Dancers 18+ must be at a pre-professional or professional level.

Auditions
July 30th
Dancers 18+: 5-9 pm. Please wear black form fitting dance attire. Audition will be barefoot. Woman's hair must be in a slick bun or pulled out of face if too short. No jewelry. Please arrive 30 min prior to check in to fill out waiver forms. No late admissions. Closed audition. Only registered dancers will be allowed to audition. Must bring headshot and resume.
Female Pointe Audition 8-9 pm

July 31st
Dancers 7-10 years: 9 am-10:30 am. Please wear black form fitting dance attire. Audition will be barefoot. Girl's hair must be in a slick bun or pulled out of face if too short. No jewelry. Expectations and Commitments:
$10 Non-Refundable Audition Fee
NON-REFUNDABLE $150 participation fee. (ADULT PEFORMERS AND PROFESSIONAL DANCERS EXEMPT FROM FEE) *payment plans available upon request
Dancers must commit to all rehearsals and performances and will be required to sign a performance contract. Dancers can talk to directors about potential conflicts before rehearsals.
Rehearsals- August 23rd-Dec 20th (excluding holidays)
Performances: Dec 21-23, 2021 at The Mid-Valley Performing Arts Center in Taylorsville.
Adult Dancers:(Depends on role: all days do not apply): Tue/Thur 7-10 pm, Friday 6:30-8:30 pm, Saturdays 8:30-11 am
